Flaming Happiness Episode 1: Daughter of Dabie Mountains

Today is China's sixth National Poverty Relief Day. China Daily website is launching an original short video series - The Flaming Happiness, following those who work on poverty alleviation and sharing the extraordinary stories of these ordinary workers.

This video, the first in our series, shares a story of a young girl who quit her job in the city of Hangzhou and went back to her hometown to help a group of left-behind elders live better lives and regain their happiness. Check it out.
