Shukun Technology accelerates its commercialization

Beijing-based artificial intelligence startup Shukun Technology said it has accelerated the commercialization of its technologies to assist cardiovascular diseases diagnosis in over 42 cities in China.
The company has most recently partnered with Xi'an Gaoxin Hospital, where smart medical imaging devices will help doctors interpret test results and have them delivered to patients in half a day.
Mao Xinsheng, chairman, said the company has the largest market share by number of products installed in Chinese hospitals – particularly in 200 top-tier hospitals – of medical AI companies in the cardiovascular disease sector.
He made the remarks during the second World Artificial Intelligence Conference over the weekend.
He said Shukun's AI technology can shorten diagnosis procedures from over 30 to just five minutes.
He also cited data from partner hospitals saying they were able to double their numbers of patients treated due to enhanced efficiency.
According to the 2017 Report on Cardiovascular Diseases in China by the National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases, China has more than 290 million cardiovascular disease patients, and 3 million die from cardiovascular disease each year.
