Party on: Anime, manga and gaming in Shanghai

China International Cartoon and Game Expo (CCG Expo), marking its 15th anniversary, kicked off at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center on Thursday.

In the exhibition area covering 60,000 square meters, companies such as Disney, video-sharing platform Bilibili, Tencent Video and China Literature, a Chinese company focusing on online literature, and Japanese toy company Kotobukiya together create an immersive cultural feast of anime, manga, gaming, film and television, literature and toys for visitors.

In addition, there are anime, manga and gaming fans dressed up to perform cosplay shows at the event.
