Energy China to step up global services

China Energy Engineering Group Co Ltd will step up efforts to go global and better integrate its services with the Belt and Road Initiative, the chairman of the State-owned enterprise said on Tuesday.
The company, also known as Energy China, has seen its international services go up by 20 percent on a yearly basis, and its overseas services already have covered more than 100 companies and regions, according to Wang Jianping, board chairman of the company.
"Our company has set up landmark projects all across the world and injected green energy for the power supply along the Belt and Road Initiative," he said at the sidelines of the China International Import Expo.
Wang said the company will develop a new structure for its international services and conduct more proactive and fruitful international cooperation.
The company's subsidiaries signed a number of procurement agreements with international companies, including a subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc and the French branch of Lincoln Electric, at the expo on Tuesday.
