Thousands of livestock herded to Xinjiang winter pastures

Nomads herd sheep and cattle to winter pastures during the seasonal livestock migration in Altay, Northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur autonomous region, in September 2018. Every season, nomadic shepherds move their livestock to different pastures, a tradition that also creates a magnificent spectacle to outsiders.
