My roommate recommended the game Onmyoji to me when I just started university. It didn't take long before I was hooked. Last semester, I spent at least four hours every day on the game. The longest record was 16 consecutive hours.

I spend around 40 yuan every month to update the outfits of my characters in the game. That is a small amount considering my roommate spends at least 3,000 yuan on in-game purchases.

For me, playing games has more benefits than detriments. I can use games to build relations with my roommates and classmates. The best thing I've gained through this hobby is knowing my boyfriend from the game Strike of Kings. When we were friends, I found out he was playing the game and asked him to coach me. With that, we started to know one another more and a romance blossomed.
