Pavel Haas Quartet

The Pavel Haas Quartet has been called "the world's most exciting string quartet" by Gramophone. Since winning the Paolo Borciani competition in Italy in spring 2005, they have established themselves as one of the world's foremost chamber ensembles, performing at the world's most prestigious concert halls and recording six award-winning CDs. Based in Prague, the quartet studied with Milan Skampa, the legendary violist of the Smetana Quartet, and still enjoy a close relationship with him. In the 2017/18 season the quartet gave their debuts at Vienna Musikverein, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Pierre Boulez Saal Berlin and the Taipei Concert Hall. They performed Martinu's Concerto for String Quartet and Orchestra with the Essen Philharmonic Orchestra under Tomas Netopil in the orchestra's season opening concerts. They returned to the Wigmore Hall, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, LG Arts Center Seoul, SWR Schwetzinger Musikfestspiele and tour to the US and Asia.

La Bayadere by Guangzhou Ballet

La Bayadere is a ballet, originally staged in four acts and seven tableaux by French choreographer Marius Petipa to the music of Ludwig Minkus. The ballet was staged especially for the benefit performance of the Russian Prima ballerina Ekaterina Vazem, who created the principal role of Nikiya. La Bayadere was first presented by the Imperial Ballet at the Imperial Bolshoi Kamenny Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia, on Feb 4, 1877. From the first performance the ballet was universally hailed by contemporary critics as one of the choreographer Petipa's supreme masterpieces, particularly the scene from the ballet known as The Kingdom of the Shades, which became one of the most celebrated pieces in all of classical ballet. By the turn-of-the 20th century, The Kingdom of the Shades scene was regularly extracted from the full-length work as an independent showpiece, and it has remained so to the present day.
Elgar and Schubert No 9 with Li Biao and Truls Mork

Li Biao, one of the few outstanding solo percussionists in the recent international music stage, win the world acclaim as an exceptional solo percussionist in the contemporary era by virtue of his extraordinary musicality of the percussion instruments as well as his unique demeanor. Born in Nanjing, China, Li began his musical studies at five years old. In 1982, he entered the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing to study percussion. In 1988, he was selected by the Chinese government as the first percussionist to study in Moscow at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Truls Mork's compelling performances, combining fierce intensity, integrity and grace, have established him as one of the pre-eminent cellists of our time.
My Song-Sophie Zelmani

Sophie Zelmani is a singer/songwriter from Sweden. Her music style is mostly described as folk-pop music. But to really catch the music style of her songs you need more words than only those two. Sophie's music is as simple as it can be. Voice and guitar, drums and bass, the sound of a saxophone in a distance, the sounds of a flute or violin coming in close. With her gentle, sometimes whispering voice she sings about love, life and other feelings. Her career started over 22 years ago with her self-entitled debut album, the album got picked up by the audience quickly and became popular in Sweden and the Far East. Since then she released 10 albums and one 'Greatest Hits'. One album contained mainly re-recordings of older songs. In March 2017, her new album was released on her own record label called Oh Dear Recording. The album is titled My Song and contains 10 new songs.
TNT Theater Britain: Notre-Dame de Paris

The Hunchback of Notre-Dame is a French Romantic/Gothic novel by Victor Hugo, published in 1831. The original French title refers to Notre Dame Cathedral, on which the story is centered. English translator Frederic Shoberl named the novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame in 1833 because, at the time, Gothic novels were more popular than Romance novels in England. The story is set in Paris, France in the Late Middle Ages, during the reign of Louis XI. TNT theater was founded in 1980 in Britain and since has established itself as one of the most popular international touring theater companies in the world. The artistic director of TNT is Paul Stebbings, whose work has won many awards at, for example, the Munich Biennale, the Edinburgh Festival and the Teheran Festival.
Bruskers Guitar Duo

Eugenio Polacchini and Matteo Minozzi, the Bruskers Guitar Duo, have been defined "two leading figures in the motley world of guitar" and "a source of inspiration for guitarists". Molded by the classical (Eugenio) and modern (Matteo) music worlds, they use jazz as a common ground and their repertoire covers traditional jazz standards and soundtracks in addition to original songs. Based in Modena, Italy, the Bruskers have been invited to international guitar festivals such as Acoustic Franciacorta, South Bay Guitar Society Festival, Plovdiv International Guitar Festival, Sarzana Acoustic Guitar Meeting, Madame Guitar Festival, Pizzicar de Corda, Arte a 6 Corde and San Benedetto Guitar Festival. They have also performed in theaters, auditoriums, and summer festivals.
