Winter is not necessarily gray and dreary. The plum blossoms in the Linyang Temple in Fuzhou, capital city of Fujian province have recently come into full bloom, dotting the ancient temple with a shade of bright pink.
Situated in the rural area of Jin'an district of Fuzhou, the Linyang Temple has a long history that dates back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
A coastal province located in the southeastern part of the country, Fujian's subtropical climate means that the region remains a realm of fragrances and colors even through the coldest months like January and February.
The following are a selection of photos recently taken in the Linyang Temple.
