Hezhou joins hands with Taiwan to develop agriculture

Other activities, such as round-table conferences, young farmers club, a tea trade fair and Taiwan food fair, were held to establish a cooperation mechanism with Taiwan agricultural industrial parks and bring young agricultural talents together.
Initiated in 2014, the Cross-Straits Youth Forum on Agriculture aims to provide a communication platform in terms of talents training, information sharing, technological development and risk prevention and control, and to boost the agricultural industries across both side of the Straits.

It was first hosted in Taiwan and took place in Hezhou two years later in 2016 for the first time. In addition to agricultural cooperation, both sides have as well strengthened cooperation in cultural exchanges and project construction in the past year.
Attendees of the opening ceremony also included Lin Zhengze, former vice chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang Party, Hou Baosen, Party secretary of China Guanghua Foundation and Li Dongxing, director of Taiwan Affairs Office of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
