Hezhou joins hands with Taiwan to develop agriculture

Heavyweights in agriculture, including Wang Yuzhi, chief executive officer of the Federation of Cross-Straits Entrepreneurs and Tan Yongfeng from the All-China Youth Federation, also gave speeches on the forum.

Other highlights of the forum included four sub-forums held from Dec 9 to 11 where participants held in-depth discussions on agricultural innovation and entrepreneurship, agricultural technologies, the construction of rural agricultural complex, and the development of the tea industry.

Six projects worth 753 billion yuan ($113.94 billion) were also signed by enterprises from Taiwan at the forum, covering areas of agricultural processing and tourism, soil improvement and organic fertilizer production.
