MOSCOW - A Boeing passenger plane from Egypt overshot the runway at Russia's Nizhny Novgorod airport, local media reported on Wednesday.

Svetlana Yapisova, spokesperson for the regional branch of Russia's Interior Ministry, told Interfax news agency that the plane from Egypt's Hurgahada overran the runway by 10 meters, but didn't cause any casualties.

So far, the cause of the accident remained unknown.
