Explosions in Yangon kill 10, injure dozens

YANGON - At least 10 people were killed and dozens of others injured in three explosions in separate locations in Yangon's Kandawkyi park area on Thursday afternoon, sources said.
At least 10 people killed were dead in the explosions, eye witnesses said, while dozens of people were wounded in the blasts and were sent to local hospitals, a police officer told Xinhua at the scene.
The explosions occurred at around 3:00 p.m. local time in a park by Kandawgyi Lake where crowds had gathered to celebrate an annual water festival. The festival enters the third day on Thursday.
