KABUL - A helicopter of NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) crashed in Afghanistan's Wardak province, 40 km west of capital Kabul, on Tuesday, killing one on board and wounding three others, spokesman for provincial administration Shahidullah Shahid said.

The wreckage of the chopper, he added, is still in Bagh-e- Zanana area.
He also said that the helicopter possibly belonged to Turkish forces as a Turkish Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT), a civilian-military unit involved mostly in reconstruction activities, is based there in Wardak province.
More than 1,000 Turkish forces have been serving in Afghanistan within the framework of NATO-led ISAF forces to help stabilize security in the post-Taliban country.
