Explosion rocks Quezon City, Metro Manila

MANILA - An explosion near a church along Kamuning road rocked Quezon City, Metro Manila at noon on Sunday, hurting an undetermined number of people and destroyed cars parked around the area, local radio DzBB reported.

DzBB report quoted a witness as saying that a grenade went off near the United Methodist Church in Kamuning road, but it is not confirmed by police, who are still trying to find what explosive device was used in the incident.

Police of Quezon City said that they have received reports that a number of people were injured and were rushed to nearby hospitals.
