An airport spokesman says a flight attendant found the note during the preboarding process for American Airlines Flight 1318 to Miami.

Spokesman Phil Orlandella says the note read, "Bomb on board, Boston-Miami."

Orlandella says the note was found sometime between when the flight arrived about 1:45 pm from Dallas and when it was scheduled to leave around 2:15 pm for Miami.

The plane was taken to an isolated area of the airport for inspection.
