PYONGYANG: The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has developed electronic piano and electronic organ for popular use, which have Korean rhythms embedded in their memories, the official KCNA news agency said Monday.

The electronic musical instruments can be used for early musical education and dissemination of popular songs, the KCNA said.
They were also applicable to creating and editing musical pieces when connected with computer, the report said.
Dozens of rhythms and over one hundred MIDI standard tones were embedded in the instruments, which could help children practice music on them, it added.
The musical instruments were good for establishing the Korean character in the musical education, according to the report.
