Visitors look at the famous historical Hall of Liberation in the northern Bavarian town of Kelheim, June 23, 2009. Bavaria's King Ludwig I commissioned the construction of this monument in 1842 to commemorate both the victorious battles against Napoleon during the Wars of Liberation 1813 to 1815 and the unification of all the German races.
