SEOUL -- South Korea will not accept the unilateral decision of the nullification of Kaesong contracts, said a spokesman of the Unification Ministry on Friday.

"Issues related to the Kaesong industrial zone should be handled and settled through inter-Korean governmental dialogue and negotiations," said Kim Ho-nyon, spokesman of the Unification Ministry.

The Spokesman also urged Pyongyang to withdraw the unilateral nullification decision, and to participate the working level talks in next week Seoul proposed on earlier Friday.

According to the spokesman, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) administrative office of the Kaesong complex told Seoul that all contracts related to the Kaesong industrial zone are no longer valid, will announce new condition for the industrial zone.

The north side, accusing Seoul of being "insincere" in negotiations, threatened that if the South's enterprises have no willing to accept the newly announced measures, they may leave the industrial zone.
