Tensions rise on DPRK's missile launch plan
This satellite image, released March 30, 2009 and taken February 26, 2009, shows missile facility at Musudan-ri, Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). The United States deployed two missile-interceptor ships from South Korea on March 30, 2009, days ahead of a DPRK rocket launch. The US, Japan and South Korea see the launch as a long-range missile test that violates UN sanctions. Picture taken on February 26, 2009 as GeoEye-1 moved over DPRK from north to south at 17,000 mph.[Agencies]
