7 suspected terrorists arrested for suicide attacks

KABUL -- Afghanistan intelligence service has arrested seven suspected terrorists on charge of having links with Taliban militants who conducted deadly suicide attacks on Justice Ministry in February, a newspaper reported Thursday.

"These seven terrorists after organizing the attack on Justice Ministry fled to Logar province, some 60 kms south of Afghan capital Kabul, and all of them have confessed their involvement in the nabbed gruesome incident," Daily Arman-e-Millie quoted Syed Ansari the spokesman of National Security Directorate (NSD) as saying.

Quoting the official, the newspaper added that the leader of the group Zabihullah Alias Rashid received training in Pakistan's tribal area of Waziristan.

"All the suspected terrorists are Afghans," Ansari further said.

In the deadly attack against the Justice Ministry which caused panic among the war-weary Afghans, 20 people, most of them civilians, were killed and over 50 others injured.
