Indian automobile sale in February up by 10%

Updated: 2009-03-09 15:25 NEW DELHI -- Indian automobile manufacturers sold 1.04 million vehicles in February, up by 10 percent from the same period last year, despite the on-going economic slowdown, the private Indo-Asian News Service reported on Monday.
Domestic two-wheeler sales in February totaled 836,926, up by 12.66 percent from the same month last year, while three-wheelers including goods carriers sold 29,989 units, up by 5.06 percent, said the report. |
