Lawmakers, their aides and members of the main opposition Democratic Party (DP) scuffle with police as the latter stop them from entering main building of the national assembly in Seoul March 1, 2009. The DP and the ruling Grand National Party (GNP) have been struggling over controversial bills which include a US trade deal as well as easing rules on bank ownership, tapping mobile phones and broadcasting company ownership by conglomerates or chaebols and conservative print media firms. National assembly speaker Kim Hyong-o said on Sunday he would put the bills to a parliamentary vote on Monday if the two parties do not reach a compromise. [Agencies]
