Top DPRK leader Kim Jong-il meets with visiting CPC official

PYONGYANG -- Kim Jong-il, top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), met with Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, in Pyongyang on Friday.

Wang met with Kim Jong-il on Thursday. The CPC official arrived in Pyongyang on Wednesday at the invitation of the Worker's Party of Korea.
