WASHINGTON -- A man in a pickup truck killed two drivers and injured another in a series of random rush-hour shootings Monday evening in Dallas, Texas, police said Tuesday.

The suspect, a bald white man in his 40s, is still at large, Dallas police spokesperson Gil Cerda told reporters.

"Whoever this person may be obviously is very upset with something or someone and he's taking it out on innocent victims going down the road," said Cerda.

All four attacks happened along a 5-km stretch northeast of downtown Dallas.

The first person killed was 20-year-old Jorge Lopez. He was sitting at a traffic light when he was shot.

A few minutes later and 3 km away, two tractor-trailers were shot at.

One driver escaped with injuries, but the other died.

In the fourth attack, gunfire shattered the windshield of another tractor-trailer, but the bullets missed the driver.
