LA PAZ -- Bolivia and Brazil will build an international bridge over Mamore River, which will link the city of Guajara-Mirim in Brazil with Guayaramer city in Bolivia, a Bolivian transport official said Saturday.

A joint commission responsible for collecting data and feasibility study has been set up, Deputy Transport Minister Jose Kinn Franco said.

The bridge, to be completed in 2010, will help facilitate traffic between the South American countries, Franco added.

The construction of the bridge is part of the integration process in South America, a reality that has been understood by governments of the continent.
