Tehran nuclear industry achievements show to open on Monday: report

TEHRAN -- Iran's Atomic Energy Organization spokesman Mohsen Delaviz Sunday announced that an exclusive exhibition of nuclear industry achievements is to open at Tehran University on Monday, the official IRNA news agency reported.

This is the first time that Iran decided to publicize the achievements of its nuclear program which it said for just peaceful purposes.

The fair, sponsored by Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, would first be held in universities in Tehran and then in other universities nationwide, Delaviz added.

The United States and its allies accuse Iran of trying to develop nuclear weapons under the cover of a civilian nuclear program. Iran has denied the charges and insisted that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only.
