French scientists discover new species of gecko

French scientist Ivan Ineich displays a never-before-seen species of gecko, baptised with the latin name Lepidodactylus buleli, at France's Natural History Museum in Paris, Friday, November 7 , 2008. This gecko was born in Paris from an egg that was plucked from the canopy of forest on the west coast of Espiritu Santo, one of the larger South Pacific islands of the archipellago of Vanuatu, east of Australia.
