LONDON - Detectives have found the gun used to murder Ryan Bravo, the teenager shot dead in a grocery store in south London.

The 18-year-old died at the Costcutter store in Camberwell on August 6 after gunmen on mopeds fired at two men standing next to him. Police said he was an innocent bystander and was not the intended target.

Scotland Yard said officers found the murder weapon during searches on a housing estate in Brixton at the weekend.

Three men, aged 17, 18 and 19, have been held on suspicion of murder. The 19-year-old was remanded in custody to November 17 when he appeared in court on Monday.

Eight others, seven teenage men and a 48-year-old woman, have been arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm and ammunition after the gun was found.

Police have also detained a 53-year-old woman for possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply.

Detective Inspector Tim Neligan, of Operation Trident, the Metropolitan Police unit that investigates black gun crime, repeated appeals for witnesses.

"Did you see five young men riding on three mopeds along the pavement?" he asked. "Did you see anything of the incident when shots were fired into the Costcutters store?"
