Video shows bystanders ignoring hit-and-run victim

The Hartford Police Department provided this image taken from a surveillance video showing a man, lying in the street, center frame, just after a car hit him, Friday May 30, 2008 in Hartford, Conn. The 78-year-old man was tossed like a rag doll by a hit-and-run driver, and car after car zoomed by as he laid motionless on the busy city street. The victim, Angel Arce Torres, was in critical condition in Hartford Hospital. [Agencies]
