5 found dead inside S. California home

SAN CLEMENTE, California -- Authorities say five people who are apparently related have been found dead inside a Southern California home.

Sheriff's Lt. Erin Giudice says the bodies were discovered Sunday afternoon at a gated community in San Clemente. A relative made the discovery and called police.

The bodies are believed to have been in the house for up to three weeks before being discovered. The victims were described as an elderly woman, a man and woman each between 40 and 50 years old, and two women in their early 20s.

All five lived in the house and all were related, authorities say. Neither homicide nor suicide could immediately be ruled out but police say they are not looking for a suspect.

San Clemente is 65 miles (105 kilometers) southeast of Los Angeles.
