BOGOTA -- Raul Reyes, the Number Two leader of Colombia's rebel Revolutionary Armed Forces (FARC), has been killed, local radio reported Saturday.

Reyes was killed during an air attack by the country's army on the southern Colombian town of Tetey, radio Caracol said.

At least 10 other guerrillas were also killed, it said.

Security agencies had intercepted a satellite communication earlier, the radio said.
