MOSCOW -- Russia's arms exporter Rosoboronexport signed a contract to supply six multipurpose warplanes to Indonesia at the 8th international air show MAKS-2007, which opened on Tuesday near Moscow, Russian news agencies reported.

The contract includes three Su-27SKM and three Su-27MK-2 jets.

Three years ago, the Russian arms exporter sold to Indonesia four multi-functional jets -- two Su-27SK and two Su-30MK.

The Indonesian Air Force is still to acquire two more jets to have a full squadron of this type of planes.

Earlier, Indonesia declared the intention to purchase from Russia 18 to 24 Sukhoi jet fighters.
