COPENHAGEN - Denmark booked their place at UEFA Euro 2012 after a 2-0 win over Norway in Copenhagen on Tuesday.
Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner scored the opener on an accurate pass from Dennis Rommedahl in the 25th minute. He found the net again in the 43rd minute with a stunning low shot.
They were Bendtner's first goals in 14 months for Denmark.
After Tuesday's match, Portugal, Denmark and Norway all scored 13 points. Denmark will likely advance to the play-off should they take three points from Cyprus.
