NANJING - The Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympics are close to having an official slogan as six candidates have been shortlisted by the organizers, it was learned on Sunday.

"Better Youth Better World", "Go, Go Youth", "Share Games, Share Dreams", "Day Day Up/Grow Each and Every Day", "Make The World Younger" and "Younger World Better Future" were selected as the candidate slogan after Nanjing 2014 launched a worldwide search in October 2010.

"The general public can visit our website (http://www.nanjing2014.org) between July 11 and 18 to vote for their choice," the organizing committee of the 2014 Youth Olympics said in a statement.

Nanjing, the capital city of East China's Jiangsu province, was awarded the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics on February 11, 2010. Singapore hosted the inaugural Summer Youth Olympics last July.
