China's Li lifts gold in women's 58kg category at worlds

GAOYANG, South Korea - Li Xueying of China claimed the gold medal in the women's 58kg category at the world weightlifting championships here on Monday.

The 19-year-old Li combined lifts of 107kg in the snatch with 132kg in the clean and jerk to finish with 239kg.
Novikava Nastassia of Belarus hoisted the silver with 225kg, and Kalina Yuliya of Ukraine took the bronze with 215kg.
