James outplays Bryant as Cavalier edge Lakers

NEW YORK - LeBron James scored 33 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Cleveland Cavaliers topped Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers 94-90 in Cleveland on Thursday.

Daniel Gibson added 15 points and Anderson Varejao had 11 points and 15 rebounds as the Cavaliers beat the Lakers in Cleveland for the fourth straight time.

Bryant led the Lakers with 21 points. Lamar Odom added 19 points and 11 rebounds with Derek Fisher scoring 18 points and Andrew Bynum getting 17.

*Vince Carter scored 31 points and Richard Jefferson added 29 as the New Jersey Nets rallied to beat the Miami Heat 107-103 in overtime.

Jason Kidd contributed 11 rebounds and 10 assists for the Nets, while Dwyane Wade topped Miami with 41 points.
