At Atlanta, Jim Slater scored his second goal with 8.1 seconds left to lift Atlanta over Tampa Bay for its fourth straight victory.

The Thrashers had lost four of five to the Lightning this season, including an 8-0 blowout in their previous meeting on December 7.

Martin St. Louis scored a short-handed goal for Tampa Bay in the first period, his 24th. Atlanta tied it in the second on a goal by Vyacheslav Kozlov. Maple Leafs 4, Wild 3=

At Toronto, Jeff O'Neill scored with 2:18 remaining and Toronto ended a three-game skid with a victory over Minnesota.

John Pohl, Mats Sundin and Alex Steen also scored for the Maple Leafs.

Kurtis Foster, Wes Walz and Brian Rolston scored for the Wild, winless in nine road games since winning at Nashville on November 16.

 Predators 3, Blues 2, SO

At Nashville, Tennessee, Alexander Radulov converted his first NHL shootout attempt to lift Nashville over St. Louis.

Predators goalie Chris Mason stopped four shootout attempts before Radulov skated in and fired a backhander high to beat Manny Legace.

Paul Kariya had a goal and an assist, and Scott Hartnell scored in the third period for Nashville.

Radek Dvorak and Bill Guerin had third-period goals for St. Louis.

It was the third time in three meetings that Nashville and St. Louis have gone to overtime.

 Canucks 3, Flames 1

At Calgary, Alberta, Daniel Sedin scored twice and Vancouver snapped Calgary's 10-game home winning streak.

Trevor Linden also had a goal and Roberto Luongo made 26 saves for Vancouver. Luongo lost his shutout bid with 23 seconds left when rookie David Moss scored off a scramble.

Calgary lost at home for the first time since October 30. The Flames and Canucks now head to Vancouver, where they'll meet for the fourth time in December on Wednesday.
