NEW YORK - LeBron James scored 38 points, 25 in the second half, to help the Cleveland Cavaliers overcome a 19-point fourth-quarter deficit and stun the Boston Celtics 94-93 on Saturday.

James led the Cavs back after Cleveland trailed for most of the game, including 11-0 and 25-6 in the first quarter, and by as many as 25 points in the third.

Cleveland still trailed 82-63 with 10:16 remaining but rallied to stage one of the greatest comebacks in franchise history.

"We had no business winning that game," Cavaliers coach Mike Brown told reporters. "We willed our way to a win."

It was James that primarily did the damage, pouring in 25 points in the second half and going 19-for-23 from the foul line after entering the game with just a 63 percent success rate from the line.

James also added eight rebounds and five assists in 44 minutes for the Cavs (4-2), who beat Boston for the sixth straight time.

Sasha Pavlovic added 14 points for the Cavaliers, who shot just 40 percent from the field. Anderson Varejao added nine points and had 10 rebounds for the winners.

Paul Pierce led the Celtics (1-5) with 19 points, all of them in the second half. Sebastien Telfair added 15 points for Boston.
