The Pacers got 27 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four blocks from O'Neal, who missed the game on Thursday against Phoenix with a sore left groin. Jamaal Tinsley added 15 points and seven assists, and Fred Jones tallied 14 points.

"They got stops, they made plays and we didn't, again," O'Neal said. "It is what it is."

After Redd's offensive burst in the third quarter, Milwaukee started the final quarter with an 11-0 run.

Redd's free throw on a defensive three-second violation gave Milwaukee its biggest lead of the game, 83-72, with 7:22 remaining.

After shooting 55.8 percent through the first three quarters, Indiana missed its first six shots of the fourth and failed to score until Jones' 3-pointer with 6:53 left. A free throw by Tinsley cut Milwaukee's lead to 85-80 with 2:47 to play, but Redd hit a 3-pointer as the shot clock expired for an 88-80 lead with 1:52 remaining.

"We're doing some things better, but we're not a perfect team," Indiana coach Rick Carlisle said. "We have to do things a certain way and we have to be very precise at both ends of the court to give ourselves a chance to win against good teams, especially on the road."

Milwaukee led by 10 points in the first quarter but trailed at halftime, 47-41.
