MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Bucks took care of the basketball and the Indiana Pacers. Michael Redd scored 20 of his 39 points in the third quarter and the Bucks set an NBA record with only two turnovers in a 96-89 victory over the Pacers on Saturday night

The previous mark for fewest turnovers in a game was three, accomplished seven times.

"Two turnovers in a game says a lot about our passing, our ability to share the ball and our good decisions," Milwaukee coach Terry Stotts said. "I'll take that any night."

Redd, who had 10 points at the half, shot 8-for-10 from the field, including 4-for-5 from 3-point range in the third quarter as the Bucks won their sixth straight game at home. The streak matches their longest of the season.

"I was just feeling my way," Redd said. "I was just playing; not trying to force nothing. I know they were kind of holding me a bit, so I had to pick my spots. My team did a great job of finding me. Really, there were no plays being called. We were just playing."

Milwaukee remained in sixth place in the Eastern Conference, taking a 1 1/2-game lead over No. 7 Indiana.

"You don't want to get caught up watching the standings," Stotts said. "It's a tight race and it can shift. Every game from here on out is going to have significance in the playoff race. It's that simple."

Redd, whose career-high is 41 points, shot 16 of 29 from the floor to go with six rebounds as Milwaukee beat Indiana for the 10th time in the last 12 meetings at the Bradley Center.

"He made big plays for them," Jermaine O'Neal said of Redd. "He made tough shots for them. And we didn't stop him."

Added Stotts: "He was in a zone."

Andrew Bogut scored 15 points and Mo Williams added 12 points for the Bucks. Indiana lost its fifth straight game on the road and fourth overall.
