International College of Xiamen University celebrates a 20-year legacy in global education

The International College of Xiamen University: 20 Years and Beyond event, which celebrated the 20th anniversary of the college and its evolution, was held on Nov 8 in Xiamen. Over 300 guests, including representatives of domestic and global partner universities, alumni, and current community members, attended. The College received congratulations from over 40 institutions worldwide, including University of Southampton. A plaque awarding ceremony for the partnership with the British Council was also held.

Steven McGuire, senior pro-vice-chancellor and deputy vice-chancellor of University of East Anglia, expressed his desire to further deepen cooperation with the International College and send more British students to China.

The International College also held a forum to pool wisdom for the high-quality development of international education. Events such as the alumni forum and performance party were held at the same time to celebrate the anniversary.
Established in 2005, the International College has been a springboard for over 8,000 global talents. Through steadfast partnerships with over 60 famous global universities, it offers a diverse portfolio of branded undergraduate and master's programs in economics, management, art and more.
