On August 6, Sierra Leone's Xi'an business office was officially established in Xi'an International Logistics & Trade Park. It is the first Afirican country to settle business office in Xi’an.
The office will be responsible for handling issues concerning visa authorization, technical cooperation, and business and trade.
Xi'an is the starting point of the Silk Road and the hometown of President Xi Jinping, said Sierra Leone Ambassador in China Victor Bockarie Foh. The establishment of the office will surely promote exchange in economy, trade and culture between the two countries, said Foh. He welcomed Xi'an entrepreneurs to invest in Sierra Leone.
The Republic of Sierra Leone is located on the coast of the Atlantic in West Africa. It's surrounded by Guinea in the north and east, and borders Liberia on the southeast. Its capital is Freetown.
