CPC Fujian Committee Former Site (China Christ Church)

The site is located at Guandong Street of Changting county, Fujian's Longyan city, in west-east direction. Its predecessor was China Christ Church, with Masonry-Timber Structure, covering an area of 388 square meters.

In the spring of 1932, the 21st year of the republic of China, the second CPC Fujian Provincial Committee Congress was convened and the committee office was set at the site.

In the beginning of April 1932, Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai and Luo Ronghuan has led the eastern force of the Red Army to Changting and discussed military issues. After the meeting, Mao Zedong led the eastern force to Zhangzhou and Zhou Enlai stayed at Changting to direct the provincial committee.

The front part of the site was an auditorium, which served as the meeting place for the congress. The back of the site was a building, with four rooms and courtyard downstairs and a hall and meeting room upstairs, where the meeting to attack and occupy Zhangzhou was held. Each side on left and right has two rooms. Zhou Enlai lived in the room on the left.

In 1978, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage subsidized the rennovation of the site. In 1988, the State Council listed the site in the third batch of Key National Cultural Heritage Protection Units.
