TMF Group, leading global provider of accounting, corporate secretarial and HR and payroll services, has taken another step forward by opening its first Shared Service Center (SSC) China on June 12.

"The opening of our new Shared Service Center in Chengdu is an exciting milestone for our China expansion plan," said Bert Damstra, TMF's regional director for China.

With eight offices, TMF China plans to open 17 more, including two Shared Service Centers, by the end of 2013. It employs more than 300 staff in Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Qingdao, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Tianjin and Hong Kong, including the new Shared Service Center in Chengdu.

"SSC is the backbone of TMF's operations in China," said Damstra.

The company holds immediate capacity for 130 staff at TMF Chengdu with the potential to reach 300 employees to meet clients' demands.

Employing over 100 staff with expertise in domestic legislation, it enables TMF to provide clients with a standardized and coordinated solution to support their expanding operations in the country.

"Our services provide clients with reassurance that they are compliant with legislation that does vary across the country, enabling them to focus on their business growth," Damstra added.
