ChemChina now owns four overseas enterprises and has a comprehensive global marketing network.

ChemChina has acquired Adisseo Group, which is the third largest manufacturer of animal nutritional additives and solutions in the world and the world's only producer of solid and liquid synthesis of methionine.
The largest plastic producer in Australia
ChemChina has acquired Qenos, which is the cornerstone of Australia's plastics and rubber industry, making the key raw materials that hundreds of other businesses rely on.
It has an ethylene production capacity of 500,000 tons per year and has 70 percent market penetration in Australia.
Globally famous organosilicon finishing producer
ChemChina's Bluestar International has an annual production capacity of 220,000 tons of organosilicon finishing. It has dominant technical advantage and its products range from aerospace, architecture, electronics, textile and medical areas
Strategic partnership with Blackstone
The US Blackstone Group has injected a total of $600 million to acquire a 20 percent stake in ChemChina.
The China Bluestar Group was launched, becoming the first State-owned enterprise in China to introduce a strategic partner through a non-listing method.
Ren Jianxin became the president of the group and Leung Kam-chung, Blackstone's China president and Ben Jenkins, Blackstone's private equity executive, became vice president and executive director of the group.
