Chinese idol star Coco Lee gave a lavish birthday party "Studio 50" for her Canadian spouse Bruce Rockowitz, a wealthy businessman, at Hong Kong's Grand Hyatt Hotel on Friday night.

Among the guests were British billionaire Sir Philip Green and Australian Jewish businessman Solomon Lew. Sexy singer Rihanna and Jaycee Chan also appeared.

Reportedly, Coco had spent a whole year preparing the event for her fiance.

Coco was snapped trying on wedding gowns in Taipei this June sparking rumours they would tie the knot this month. Bruce denied a scheduled marriage announcement prior to the party but replied it will "come soon."

Nicknamed Asian Pop Diva, Coco is the first Chinese person to perform in the Oscars, singing the Academy Award nominee for Best Original Song, 'A Love Before Time' from the movie 'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon' in the 73rd Academy Awards.

After the party, Coco, Bruce and members of his family will fly to the Philippines for a holiday.
