A fossil of a panda's canine tooth is displayed at a research center in Haikou, South China's Hainan Province, December 5, 2007. Archeologists unearthed the fossils of giant pandas, apes, rhinoceros, elephants and other large mammals, which are estimated to have lived 400,000 years ago, from a stone quarry on Hainan Island.
