5. Dunhuang Yadan National Geologic Park

Located 180km northwest away from Dunhuang county of Gansu province, Yadan National Geologic Park is regarded as the largest Yadan landform discovered so far with a spectacular geological landscape.

Yadan landscapes are formed and shaped when clay created from periodic flooding is blown by the dry air of China's northwest. It features the unique and wonderful scenes and landscapes of Gobi Desert, which is very attractive against the blue sky and white clouds.
