A group wedding ceremony attracting 30 couples was held in Small Green Valley, an ecological park in Urumqi's Economic and Technological Development Zone in Urumqi city, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, on June 16, the uetd.gov.cn reported.
The 30 couples all work for Xinjiang Fufeng Group, an internationalized bio-fermentation products manufacturer which is located in the development zone.

The “garden wedding” received a warm response from the participants. A bride called Wang Xiaoying said that “a wedding in the park is different than a traditional wedding in a restaurant, and I’m happy to have had mine in the garden.”
The 30 new couples donated 30,000 yuan ($4,563) to a children’s library in Zhongya South Road Community, and said that they hope more children will benefit from reading.

The group wedding was hosted by the offices of Ganquanbao Industrial Park. Pu Gang, the park’s office director, said that the Fufeng Group has contributed to the local economy and the government hopes to help its employees gain a sense of belonging and happiness through various activities.
