A media delegation from Osh, Kyrgyzstan visited Economic and Technological Development Zone in Urumqi city, the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region to report on local developments, on Oct 24.
The visiting group was shown around the local exhibition hall, the ecological park—Small Green Valley and high-speed railway station zone. The Kyrgyzstan journalists have been taking photos all the way through and said that they were impressed by the booming economy and technology in the development zone.
The delegation consists of the journalists from Osh's TV station and news website. The media group planed to spend one week visiting Northwest China's cities including Xi'an–Shaanxi province, Lanzhou–the capital of Gansu province and Xining–Qinghai province. They made report on the economic and social development in these Chinese regions. Urumqi was one of their scheduled stops.
